Hi Jolene,

 

I just wanted to give you an update on Adrianne, who we have renamed Darby.  She is adjusting to her new home very well.  I am pretty impressed with this little girl.  She is doing well with going outside to potty and has only had a few accidents in the house.  I take her outside every couple of hours and she is doing great.   Don says I am spoiling her already because she is like my little shadow.

 

Dalton and Dillon adore her.  The first thing they ask when they wake up is "Where's Darby, Mommy?"  They are being very gentle and they love to give her toys to play with. She gets more playful every day. Darby sleeps well and at night she only whines for a short period before going to sleep.  She is only peeing at night on newspapers and when I take her out in the morning she does her other business outside.  (Makes clean up a lot easier.)

 

I have pre-registered her at Hopkins Road Animal Hospital and her first appt. is on Monday.  She will get an exam and her next series of vaccines.  They said we could spay her in about 3 to 4 months.

 

I also wanted to ask if you could tell me why she was rescued?  My friends and family ask if the puppies were abandoned or rescued because they were mistreated.   I hope her siblings are doing well and that they get good homes too when they are ready.

 

I have attached a few pictures for you.  I am glad we made the trip to your center to look at the puppies.  She is a wonderful addition to our family.
