Grooming Services

Regular grooming is important to your pet’s health and well being. It can prevent problems such as excessive shedding, skin and paw disorders, painful mats and bad breath, as well as help you identify other problems that might go unnoticed otherwise.

At Adkins Pet Center, we take customer service very seriously. You'll always find caring professionals, who love animals and, like you, want the best for your pet. Our groomers will meet with you and your pet, thoroughly explain our grooming process and be sure to understand any special needs you may have.  We are sure your pet will leave happy, healthy and looking great.

The Adkins Pet Center offers the following grooming services:

Nail Trimming - $8 per dog

Appointments are not necessary.

Nail grinding with a Dremel tool is also available for $15.

Anal Gland Expression - $8 per dog

Appointments are not necessary. Please note that expressing anal glands can sometimes be a messy process and a bath may be suggested afterwards.

Teeth Brushing - $10 per dog

Appointments are not necessary.

De-Shedding – appointment is necessary

Prices range from $10-$20 depending on the breed, size and coat density. De-shedding is done as an add-on to our Full-Service Bath & Brush due to the fact that the dog's coat must be clean and dry prior to performing the de-shedding process.

Full Service Grooming with Haircut – appointment is necessary

Prices start at $35. Pricing may vary by breed, size, style of cut, and coat density and condition. Please call for an estimate. All full service grooming includes the following:

  • Bath with one of many specialty shampoos and coat conditioners
  • Anal gland expression
  • Coat brush out
  • Haircut
  • Nail trim
  • Ear cleaning (including pulling of ear hair where necessary)

 

Full Service Bath & Brush – appointment is necessary

Prices start at $25.00. Pricing may vary by breed, size, style of cut, and coat density and condition. Please call for an estimate. All full service bath & brush includes the following:

  • Bath with one of many specialty shampoos and coat conditioner
  • Anal gland expression
  • Sanitary trim (shaving of dog's belly, back end, and "private" areas)
  • Coat brush out
  • Nail trim
  • Ear cleaning (including pulling of ear hair where necessary)
