Hatch is doing great - and you are right - what a sweetie! :-) Kept his name - it's too cute - and he seems to respond to it fairly well!

Had to take him to the vet last week - found blood in his stool, so I was kind of worried! Probably just because his immune system was weakened from the stress of a new home. And an ear infection - you know - typical "puppy stuff"! :-) The vet absolutely LOVED him! He hasn't been eating much the past week - but I think his appetite has come back - he ate everything in his bowl this morning!

He's getting a little better on a leash - and we're doing well with the potty training - haven't had nearly as many accidents as I expected - you can seem to tell when he needs to go out.

I think he's finally starting to feel at home - beginning to get some puppy back in him - becoming playful!  Although - I still can't believe how laid back he is!

He seems to be doing well with the crate when I'm gone during the day - home at lunch - and doesn't seem to mind going in it.

I think we'll see how far down the street we can make it this week on the leash before he plops down! ;-) and then try to do some basic training classes starting next month. Although, I don't think he'll need much!
